We are currently seeking a Composite Technician to join the team on a nightshift. Working in the Composites Department this role will ensure race car components and other composite assemblies are produced in the most efficient, cost effective way whilst keeping lead-times to a minimum.
The successful candidate will have a good level of knowledge around manufacturing technology relating to composite components. Operationally you will need to have experience with mould making, component manufacture and trimming and fitting. They will be required to liaise with other departments such as the Drawing Office; therefore, good written and verbal communication skills are critical to the success of this role.
This is a fast-paced environment and to succeed in the above roles you will need to be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Also, problem-solving, along with attention to detail and a can-do attitude. With a collaborative approach, good communications and organization skills, you will enjoy working as part of a team and relish a challenge.
