Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for an Electrical Harness Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract basis.
Reporting to the Principal Engineer - Systems Integration, this is a key role where the successful individual will assemble and disassemble cars and other components as required, ensuring they are built to the agreed standards and that any discrepancies have been highlighted and agreed. You will ensure that all assemblies are built to a build procedure and that build checklists (where applicable) are completed and are visible for inspection.
The successful candidate will build and maintain Labcar and components, programme vehicle ECU using supplied software. You will monitor, manage and diagnose all vehicle electrical systems and ensure that all faults are reported.
The ideal candidate will proactively support others to ensure tasks are completed, assist car build operations if necessary and be able to travel to tests and events if this is required.
