Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Attribute Development Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the vehicle programme plan activities for vehicle test & development scheduling including, creating the day by day plan for vehicle tests, liaising with the attributes and systems leaders to create, manage and coordinate all aspects for the global test plan.
Duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include working across a range of WAE projects. A large proportion of these will be automotive where you will be working within a Programme delivery environment.
The role demands the need to work collaboratively across the Williams organisation to ensure success. You will be seconded to projects operating within a deliverables and gateway derived process as part of the vehicle integration team who have overall responsibility for ensuring that the Vehicle Test Plan meets the requirements of the project plan, vehicle teams and systems teams.
Client liaison and relationship building is an essential part of the operational duties. You will be running test and development schedule meetings and support the prototype build engineer in creating a cohesive plan that delivers success.
