Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Integration Development Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the complete vehicle noise & vibration harshness targets for new vehicle programmes. Setting the targets, creating the DVP and executing the test plans on time. Supporting the Vehicle Integration Manager in day to day activities as required.
Operating within a matrix engineering structure, you will be working relatively autonomously with guidance from a senior vehicle integration manager across a range of WAE projects.The role demands the need to work collaboratively across the Williams organisation to ensure success.
You will be seconded to projects operating within a deliverables and gateway derived process as part of the vehicle integration team who have overall responsibility for ensuring that the vehicle test plan meets the requirements of the project plan, vehicle teams and systems teams.
As leader for the NVH attribute you will be responsible for engaging with the systems teams in cascading clear targets. You will be responsible for creating the vehicle DVP and working closely with your CAE, Prototype Build and Engineering teams.
Client liaison and relationship building is an essential part of the operational duties, acting as a business representative at all times. You will be running Programme Attribute Review meetings and be responsible for delivering a cohesive plan that ensures success, on time, to quality & cost.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline and have extensive experience in NVH vehicle attribute. EV powertrain experience would be advantageous.
