Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for Vehicle Integration and Certification Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integration, this is a key role where the successful individual will take full responsibility for technical and vehicle conformity activities around WAE automotive programmes. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Lead Integration Engineers and the wider project teams to provide vehicle integration activities from initial concept through to project completion. This will include chairing and documenting design reviews, influencing vehicle package, attribute setting and organising certification & development activities.
The candidate will have a good understanding of the design, engineering and application for all vehicle systems. Expert knowledge of certification, legislation, homologation, market requirements and compliance is essential. Particular expertise within a powertrain (I.C. or electric), a chassis discipline (suspension, steering, brakes, etc) or occupant packaging would be beneficial.
You will have a degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical or aerospace engineering and experience of design, project management or certification within the specialist automotive or motorsport industry or be able to show that your extensive experience in an advanced engineering environment is transferable.
