    Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Development and Test Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.


    Reporting to the Chief Engineer Mechanical Development, this is a key role where the successful individual will be responsible for the develop test equipment and rig in order to process concept validation at an early stage of the design on multiple projects.


    Duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include assisting the senior engineer and head of department to provide experimental results to other departments. In this role the engineer will participate in mechanical concept validation through calculation, design, prototype assemblies’ tests and experiments, the successful candidate will run the test with supervision of the senior engineers within the department.

    With a degree or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering, the successful candidate will already have working knowledge of 3D CAD and PML software ideally NX and Team Centre. You will have some knowledge of being able to process data, and be able to present the result in a synthetic way. A knowledge of Simulation/calculation software would be advantageous.
