  • Overview

We are currently seeking a Junior Surface Designer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential of this being extended with a candidate that excels.

In this role the successful candidate will join the concept design group and be trained to surface within the Aerodynamics department. This will involve training on Siemens NX, at a basic level if required, eventually being able to create complex geometry that will be used in the development of the wind tunnel model and race car.

The ideal candidate would have a background in product design, but this is not essential. We are looking for someone who has a creative, artistic flair with a technical interest and a willingness to learn. They will be an effective communicator with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Based at our campus in Grove, Oxfordshire, set in spacious grounds with free onsite parking, Williams offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive range of benefits, which include: a free onsite gym and exercise classes, onsite osteopathy, company pension scheme, private medical insurance, a health cash plan, life assurance and long-term disability insurance. In addition, employees receive 26 days’ holiday (this is increased at certain service points), benefit from a subsidised canteen and have access to Mercedes and Jaguar Land Rover car schemes along with other fantastic voluntary benefits.

Please Note: Due to the Volume of applications we receive on a daily basis we cannot guarantee your application will be acknowledged or considered unless you have applied directly via our website www.williamsf1.com/careers
