  • Overview

This is an interim role to cover a period of maternity leave for approximately 12 months.

This role is key in helping us build an excellent finance function here at Williams.  We operate across two business segments, our globally recognised Formula One team and our fast growing Williams Advanced Engineering company.  We are ambitious, creative and determined to succeed.

As a listed business, good governance and a commitment to transparent and effective process is important.  Although Williams has expanded over recent times, we believe we have kept the family within the team and we are proud of our supportive and friendly environment.

You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of driving positive change in a business from a Finance perspective.  You will be able to work cross functionally at all levels in the business and have previous experience of working in industry.

You will need to be comfortable working reasonably autonomously with minimal direction, although you will be fully supported by the Financial Director, the rest of the Finance team and the Senior Leadership Team.

This is a role that offers huge variety of work and it is expected that high degrees of flexibility will be required.  The role is likely to evolve as WAE continues to grow, and this will undoubtedly result in the opportunity for the incumbent to continue to develop professionally in the role.

As a member of WAE’s Extended Leadership Team, this is a high profile role that will be highly visible in the company, and necessitate exemplary levels of integrity, commitment and drive to succeed.
