  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our Operations Design Engineers to manage and coordinate the Operations Design Group that are tasked with producing high quality solutions to manufacturing assemblies.


    Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the design groups to produce Jigs, Fixtures and Rigs to the highest standard whilst working within the Fit, form and Function methodology. The successful candidate will liaise regularly with Departments/Production Controllers that feed/are fed by Operations Design Group (Inspection, Machine Shop, Aero, Pattern Shop etc. to ensure priorities are transparent in order to identify ways to improve the departments performance, instigate improvement projects and monitor progress by regularly updating department performance measures.


    We require a relevant engineering qualification supported by relevant design experience in aerospace, motorsport or a related field. You will need to possess strong CAD skills, ideally with the experience of using NX.


    This is a fast-paced environment and to succeed in the above roles you will need to be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Also, problem-solving, along with attention to detail. With a collaborative approach, good communications and organization skills, you will enjoy working as part of a team and relish a challenge.
