  • Overview


    We are looking to recruit an exceptional Sub Assembly Technician to join our team.


    This is a travelling position where the successful applicant will be required to attend a significant number of events through the year ranging from Grand Prix to test events through to promotional events, as direct and as required by the business.


    Reporting, in the first instance, to the Sub Assembly Foreman, the individual’s primary role will be to provide competent and knowledgeable support on all sub-assembly areas including, but not limited to, transmission build, upright build, clutch assembly, and brake system build. The successful candidate will also be expected to gain knowledge of additional related car systems to enable an enhanced service to be provided at any given event. Whilst attending these events, you will be expected to support additional activities as directed by the relevant line manager at the event, such as car assembly / strip and garage area build and strip down.


    Whilst not attending events, you will be supporting the needs of the factory side

    sub-assembly area(s) as required.


    Experience in assembly, strip, servicing and sign off testing of current and relevant F1 components, including gearboxes and associated gearbox sub-assemblies, front and rear upright assemblies, clutches, and brake calipers, would be an advantage when applying for this position.


    The role will encompasses working with multiple departments both within the production team and the broader business areas. You will be expected to ensure cohesion and continuity throughout.


    With a view to continued improvements, the successful candidate will be capable of identifying ways to improve the department and personnel performance, actively enforce the company’s Health and Safety policy and maintain a high standard of personal and department presentation.
