We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner reporting the Finance Director this role will business partner to operational and engineering departments, responsible for providing analysis, insight and support for decision making, process improvements and delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives. Deliver a transformative change to the value that the finance department delivers to the business with the sole aim of improving the team’s performance and efficiency across the board.


Key responsibilities include partnering with senior stakeholders, this is a highly visible role requiring you to influence at all levels of the organisation. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar) with prior finance business partnering experience. The ability to prepare accurate, reliable and timely reporting is essential in order to provide a basis on which your expertise and insight will be based.


The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment and a communication style which enables you to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will have the ability to challenge the status quo, are comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment and are able to propose, justify, initiate and implement change. You will be commercially strong with the ability and proven experience to bring ideas to the table.

In this strategically focused role, information and reporting is a core element of the job, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. What really matters is the ability to understand and see the value in the information you provide, understand how and why it is prepared and to inspire others to make use of it. Technical skills are a prerequisite; interpersonal skills and dynamism will set you apart from the other candidates.
