Overview

Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team on a 6 month contract.

 

Reporting to the Principal Engineer, Electrical Systems this is a key role where the successful individual will integrate customer, proprietary and bespoke electrical systems and components to achieve vehicle targets.

 

Duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include the development of system architecture proposals and definitions; the analysis and specification of system requirements including the communication, functional and physical elements of the system. You will undertake hazard analysis, risk management and DFMEA for components and systems as required.

The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for vehicle programme applications and supporting virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles, including assisting with the build and fault-finding of projects.

The successful candidate will have recent experience and a proven track record in electrical integration within the automotive or motorsport industries, a degree in the relevant engineering discipline and the ability to work to strict deadlines.

 

Working knowledge of Vector tools (including CANalyser) would be advantageous.
