We are currently seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to assist our Aerodynamics Department on a 12 month fixed term contact basis.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in the expansion, development and maintenance of our strategic planning and data interrogation software, whilst also being available to support the user group when the need arises.
Key Responsibilities will include: - Development of new and existing applications. - Optimisation and user experience improvements to existing applications. - Working closely with the aerodynamics department to ensure accuracy of output
Skills and experience required for this role include: - Proficiency in writing C# within Visual Studio - Proficiency in designing and developing databases within MSSQL Server. - Expertise in developing intuitive and responsive GUIs - Strong communication and analytical skills - Ability to work to tight deadlines often under pressure
Beneficial attributes include: - Experience of writing WPF .Net software in the MVVM methodology. - Experience of writing C++ in the Qt framework. - Background in engineering or mathematical simulation tool development.
