We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager within our ambitious and focussed IT Team. Reporting to the IT Programme Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to join Williams. The ideal candidate will be fully competent in core IT skills as well as being able to demonstrate; exceptional organisational, analytical and numerical skills. They will have commercial awareness and the ability to work with technical partners, solve problems by generating solutions and excellent stakeholder management skills. The candidate should be comfortable running IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Software Development and Business Improvement projects.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role will be; defining the scope of IT projects with the assistance of the IT Management Group, ensure the IT PM methodology is followed and project requests are assessed by Steering Committees prior to project initiation, create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, whilst identifying resourcing requirements, dependencies and risks & issues, work with technical partners to determine project progress and assist with management of Williams activities.
The ideal candidate will have; 5+ years of project management experience, experience of delivering large scale upgrade/transformation projects at an enterprise level and a proven ability to motivate and develop people. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is driven by change and can adapt their communication skills to suit all areas of the business.
