Overview

We are seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, this role will take accountability for managing the finance processes related to employees across the Group. Key responsibilities for this role will be; ensuring accurate data is provided to our outsource payroll provider on a timely basis, prepare analysis and reporting on employee costs, ensure balances are recorded and reconciled at the end of each period and making sure that employee expense claims are completed appropriately and paid in line with agreed timescales. The ideal candidate will require excellent organisational and process development skills with a focus on change and the ability to build productive working relationships with the HR team and other departments. They will also require an understanding of the financial/accounting implications of any actions completed as well as a knowledge of general payroll principles. Being AAT qualified would be an advantage but not essential for this role.
