We are seeking a Mechanic to join our Race Team. Working as a key member of the Race Team, the successful candidate will be required to assemble/disassemble cars or equipment as instructed and assist in the transport, build and operation of garage facilities and events. Key operational duties will include attending race, test or PR events as required, proactively support others to complete their tasks, record and work with department performance measures to identify the cause of any downtime or delays, ensuring they are built to the agreed standards and that any discrepancies have been highlighted and agreed. The selected candidate will also need to ensure that all assemblies are built to a build procedure and that build checklists (where applicable) are completed and are visible for inspection and all faults reported.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, possess strong attention to detail and have a proactive and positive approach to their work. In addition, the ability to work collaboratively within this close knit team is essential, with effective communication and work to high standards and tight deadlines.
