We are currently recruiting for a 5 Axis Machinist (Pattern Shop) to join our team on a contract basis. Reporting to the Pattern Shop Foreman, this is a key role where the successful individual will help to ensure patterns /jigs/race car components are produced in the most efficient, cost effective way whilst keeping lead-times to a minimum. The successful candidate will be operating three and five axis machines that cut a diverse material range and will be experienced in machining high quality patterns/jigs/race car components. The ability to work to tight deadlines is key in order to meet the demands set out by the development and production plans for the formula one race car and external customers. We are looking for a candidate with a strong continuous improvement ethic, who has the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and work robustly under pressure. Good written and verbal communications skills are critical as well as strong attention to detail and a positive approach to work.
