We operate a 12 month (August 2018 - August 2019) student placement programme. This is an exciting opportunity where Placement Students work under the mentorship of an experienced team member, gaining significant experience, as well as invaluable information for final year dissertations/thesis. You will work on innovative projects, alongside technical experts and design specialists whilst developing your skills and building your experience in a dynamic hands-on learning environment.

Throughout the duration of the placement, you will have regular performance evaluations with the nominated manager to aid professional and personal development.

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator Placement student to join our driven Procurement team for the 12-month programme as part of your ongoing degree studies.

Your duties would be exciting, wide ranging and varied and will include: liaising with the supply base to ensure effective supply of product and services, delivered to the correct specification, to schedule and at minimum cost, supporting a multi programme demand. You will be involved on internal project work, including studies into best cost country sourcing for low volume, prototype components and assemblies.

The successful candidate will be studying towards a degree and be good at problem solving, accountable, with strong analytical skills and an ability to work under their own initiative and to tight deadlines. You will be able to establish excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

Due to the short term nature of student placements, we are unable to accept applications from candidates who do not have entitlement to live and work in the United Kingdom and we are also unable to accept students in their final year of University.
